Schley 12U Team Places Third in World Series

The Schley County 12U All-Star Baseball Team recently represented Georgia in the Diamond Youth World Series in Bossier City, Louisiana, and placed third in the nation.
"This team was special," said Coach Justin Renfroe. "They truly enjoyed playing ball with each other and had a great team chemistry. Some of these young men have played rec ball together since T-Ball. For 9 out of the 12 guys this was their last year being able to play rec ball and to take it as far as this team did was an extraordinary experience. It was truly an honor to a part of this journey with them."
