The battle between Chattahoochee County Commissioner Damon Hoyte against his own government continued in the last monthly meeting of the Commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County.
Hoyte has been fighting fellow local officials in court for a while now after he placed a mobile home on property at 110 Stagecoach Drive prior to making a request for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to do so (to have a mobile home on less than five acres). His request was denied by his fellow commissioners. That happened back in October of 2022.
He's been fighting it in court, as well as objecting to rulings that didn't go his way and fines that he was assessed.
