Chattahoochee Valley Libraries promoted from within recently to name Bailey Carter the new Marion County Public Library Manager.
"We had a very talented pool of interviewees, which made it tough," said Libraries Director Alan Harkness. "Bailey rose to the top for a variety of reasons. We were pleased with her customer service experience in a variety of settings (not only at the library), her supervisory experience, and the education she brings to the table. She also demonstrated a real willingness to proactively insert herself into the community, to meet people where they are, and a real creative approach to library programs and outreach."
