The Marion County Commission gave the go-ahead for the next Rural America Festival, approved voiding unclaimed refund checks, decided to work with an adjacent county for Board of Equalization appeals, and discussed other items during its recent monthly meeting.
The Commission approved a request by Cody Currington (The Dimes Store & Coffee Club) to use the Marion County Courthouse grounds for the Rural America Festival, which is planned for Saturday, November 9 from 9 am to 3 pm.
