Schley County High cruised to an easy win, 34-0, on the road against Talbotton Central last Friday night to stay in contention in the race for the region title.
Facing a small squad that only dressed out 13 players, the Wildcats jumped out to a huge lead and dominated the game, which featured a running clock before halftime.
"We challenged our kids to take it seriously and not play around," said Head Coach Darren Alford. "They came out strong and it was 34-0 before you could turn your head. ... It gave us an opportunity to get all of our kids into the game and our JV players saw a lot of action."
