Schley's Walker Signs with UGA

Schley County High School senior Zayden Walker - a five-star football recruit sought after by many top college teams - officially signed with the University of Georgia in a special ceremony last Friday.
The 6-foot-2, 225-pound Walker was ranked as the No. 1 linebacker in the 2025 recruiting class by 247Sports. He was the No. 29 overall prospect (all positions) in rankings by On3.
"Zayden is a young man of great character," said SCHS Head Coach Darren Alford. "I'm proud of the work he's done for us and excited about his opportunities."
As a Wildcat, Walker totaled 192 tackles in his four years for Schley County. As a senior, he amassed 77 tackles (13 for losses).
