The Buena Vista City Council approved an effort to recoup sales tax fees they city should not have been charged, reviewed plans to convert a building in the downtown area to apartments, got various updates from department heads, and heard a plea from the police chief about parents safeguarding their children from sexual predators (see separate story) during their recent regular monthly meeting.
One council member also expressed displeasure with the significant pay raise approved for the mayor last month.
