The Draneville Volunteer Fire Department was recently awarded a grant from the Sumter EMC Foundation. These funds will help purchase a new service truck with side bodies, allowing for a skid unit to be mounted, as well as extraction equipment.
This will positively impact response times to wildland fires and motor vehicle accidents.
