The Roscoe Robinson Center in Cusseta was the site of the 2025 Latavia's Closet Community Easter Egg Hunt, which provided a hopping good time for hundreds of people, especially local kids.
By the time the event was over 123 kids had "hunted" for and claimed a whopping 7,000 plastic eggs filled with candy and prizes. There were also tons of special Easter Baskets donated by local businesses, groups, and citizens. Those were awarded via raffles throughout the event.
Charlotte Richards welcomed the huge crowd prior to Pastor Douglas of Kingsville Baptist Church sharing thoughts about Easter and the importance of the love of Christ - and of members of the community showing love to each other. Bethel AME Church Pastor Millie Shorter also addressed the crowd.
