In a packed Storm Dome Auditorium at Georgia Southwestern University in nearby Americus, the Schley County High School Class of 2025 held their graduation on Saturday, May 24.
Hank Arrington welcomed everyone by stating, "We made it! I want to wish everyone good luck and I urge you never to stop going after your dream."
Schley County Superintendent Brian Hall said that he was very proud of the graduates. He told them that all of the adversities they will confront can be overcome by hard work, but he was confident that they would succeed.
Salutatorian Abbie Cheek thanked all of the people who helped them along the way, especially her parents.
"Mom, thank you for believing in me when I couldn't believe in myself, and Dad, I wish we could share one...
