A discussion of a potential change to the Chattahoochee County Planning & Zoning Board led one county commissioner to caution another about potential ethics violations during a recent meeting of the Commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County.
County Manager Thomas Weaver informed commissioners that members of the Planning & Zoning Board want to discuss the possibility of restructuring the board from seven members to five members.
They say it is sometimes difficult to get enough members of the seven-member board to attend meetings in order to have a quorum (the minimum number of members required to be present to conduct official business). They think having fewer members would help with that problem.
