Chattahoochee County voters will be asked to approve a new sales tax to help provide tax relief for property owners.
The Commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County approved the request during its recent meeting. So, in November, voters will have the option of approving a Floating Local Option Sales Tax (FLOST) of one percent. This would be in addition to the existing sales tax.

If passed, the sales tax would last for five years.
