Marion Schools Form Own Police Department

The Marion County School District has formed its own police department. The first chief of the new department has been hired and is currently working with his staff to prepare for the new school year.
The school district is proud to welcome Chief Ralph Perkins as the new School Police Chief, along with his loyal K9 partner, Buddy. A decorated veteran, dedicated officer, and passionate mentor, Chief Perkins brings a wealth of experience, integrity, and heart to the newly established school police program.
