Richland Rum was featured on national television with the CBS Morning Show, anchored by the illustrious Gayle King on July 24. The spot was titled "How retirement led Georgia couple to build a rum empire".
Earlier this year, in May, a team of five CBS production crew landed in Richland for almost four days to film the City of Richland and her water tower, the rum distillery, and the process of making authentic rum.
The film crew also visited the farm to watch the sugarcane fields and did interviews with owners Karin and Erik Vonk, distiller Tarik TJ Harris, Rick Protho, and Kim Ashmore.
