Ellaville's Albritton is Still Going Bananas on the Field

Ellaville native Dakota Albritton has a new highlight as a member of the unique professional baseball team of the Savannah Bananas. He is featured on a Choice Sports Card.
Albritton was given a pair of stilts when he was 10 years old. Little did his parents know where that gift would lead. After high school, his mother, Lisa Albritton, filled in an application for him to play on the Savannah Bananas baseball team. When the fact that he could play on stilts came out in his interview, he was on his way to play with this crazy, fun team. He is actually included in Wikipedia as the world's "tallest" baseball player.
