The Marion County Sheriff's Office announces that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation recently made two additional arrests in an ongoing sexual exploitation case The Journal reported on earlier this year.
Spencer Hebert, 30, of Texas was arrested on June 28, and Armando Hernandez, 25, M, also of Texas was arrested on July 30.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the investigation began when a teenage girl reportedly snuck out of her home at night and was reported missing to the Marion County Sheriff's Office. She had allegedly been convinced by local sex offender John Paul Ramey, 45, of Mauk, that they were in love and should runaway together.
