The Marion County High varsity softball team had a busy week, going 2-2 against some quality opponents. Their record now stands at 7-3.
 Marion 10, Hawkinsville 0: The Lady Eagles scored a Mercy Rule win against Hawkinsville, winning 10-0 in 5 innings on August 18.
 Addie Underwood pitched a gem, shutting out Hawkinsville and allowing only 2 hits while striking out 6 and walking 2.
 Lindsay Bagley led the team at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a double and driving in a pair of runs.
 Adding 1 hit each were Jenny Addison (triple), Haleigh Frazier, Taner Tyler (RBI), Underwood (RBI), and Sage Davis (RBI).
 The team stole 9 bases - 3 each by Frazier and Tyler, and 1 each by Harley Grier and Kinsley Barrow.
