Buena Vista's Oldest Church is Full of Life and Praise

J Platinum Opening a Resounding Success
The oldest church in Buena Vista was full of life last Friday night for J Platinum Records' first concert since reaching an agreement to use the 190-year-old sanctuary to produce gospel music, videos, concerts, speeches, and podcasts.
With a full house, six nationally known gospel groups performed in the new home of J Platinum Records in the recently refurbished Ramah Baptist Church building on Miller Street. Well known for its acoustics, the sounds were amazing.
Debra Snipes and other performers made the intimate space come alive. Mrs. Snipes mesmerized the crowd with a melody of her hits as she headlined the event. The glow and brightness of the interior set a special tone for the gospel music.
