Chatt Commission Proposes Property Tax Increase

The Commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County is proposing a property tax increase of 14.93%.
The commissioners havetentatively adopted a 2025 millage rate which will require this increase in property taxes.
Public hearings on this proposal are scheduled for Wednesday, September 17 at 10 am and 6 pm, as well as on Wednesday, September 24 at 6 pm. They will be held at the County Commission Office located at 215 McNaughton Street in Cusseta.
