No 5 Ranked Marion wins 3 of 4

The No. 5 ranked Marion County High varsity softball team won 3-of-4 games last week with the only loss being against a fellow Top 10 ranked team. They improved to 13-4 overall and 2-1 in Region 6.
Marion 5, Crawford 4: Playing against a solid Crawford County team, the Lady Eagles won in dramatic fashion in extra innings. The game was tied at 4-4 in the bottom of the eighth inning when Taner Tyler hit a walk-off single that drove in the winning run.
Lindsay Bagley was a warrior in the pitcher's circle, tossing all 8 innings and earning the win. She struck out a whopping 14 batters, while giving up just 1 earned run on 4 hits and 4 walks.
