The Chattahoochee County High School varsity boys basketball team continued its excellent season with a trio of wins over the holidays. The Panthers - currently ranked No. 1 in the state - have now won nine games in a row. They are 11-1 overall and a perfect 3-0 in Region 6.
Their most recent victories were over Manchester High School (91-47), Spencer High (65-39), and region rival Marion County (64-48).
In the Manchester game, Curtis "Champ" Simpson and Javen Tullis both scored 22 points. Simpson added 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 9 steals, while Tullis had 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocked shots.
