Bats Pause Construction in Cusseta

Cusseta-Chattahoochee officials and law enforcement have wanted the Georgia Department of Transportation to do something to improve safety at the intersection of Highway 280/530 and Highway 27/Wells Street for years. The DOT eventually agreed to add a roundabout. It wasn't the traffic light that many had hoped, but it was something.
Construction efforts started and there are still signs in the area that indicate something is going on, but locals have noticed that nothing has actually been going on for a good while. That left many to wonder if plans had changed or what the holdup could be.
