Chatt Co Sheriff Warns of Life or Death Need

 The Commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County heard a request that was described as potentially a matter of life-and-death during its recent monthly meeting.
 Chattahoochee County Sheriff Hank Lynch told county commissioners that the Sheriff's Office needs an upgraded communications system and proposed one at a cost of around $58,000.
 It's far from a new issue.The Journal published a story about the sheriff's concerns back in October of 2019. Now, more than six years later, he's urging county officials to provide the necessary funding.
