It's a wrap. The filming for the teaser/proof of concept portion of Batboy: Year of Enlightenment was recently completed in Buena Vista.
Luis Sanchez, owner/producer of independent film company Fam Jammers of Perry, says it went very well and he's excited about the potential of turning it into a full movie.
"It was amazing," said Sanchez. "The cast and everyone who came out did a great job."
He said they have a day of green-screen shooting remaining in Perry, then the addition of effects, which could take two to three months.
In addition to the excitement of the film being shot in Buena Vista (so far all at Marion County Middle-High School), some locals have earned roles.
