The historic season of the Chattahoochee County High varsity basketball team came to an end last Friday, March 6, as the No. 1 ranked Panthers fell to No. 5 ranked Clinch County, 53-44, in the Final Four (Semifinals) of the Class A Division 2 State Championship Tournament at Fort Valley State University.
The loss came on the heels of knocking off No. 2 ranked Bowdon High, 71-60, in the Elite Eight (Quarterfinals) round.
While it was disappointing for the team, Panther Nation is very proud of the squad.
