They're Back! The Kinchafooneee Mudcats are throwing, hitting, and running once again in Webster County.
The organization was dormant for eight years but a group of volunteers worked hard to shine up the diamond, recruit coaches, and do all of the things needed to give local kids an opportunity to play t-ball, baseball, and softball for a hometown team.
The Mudcats had their official Opening Day on Saturday, April 4 at the fields in Preston.
The facility was buzzing with activity as local teams welcomed squads from Albany and Terrell County for a full day of youth ball.
Fans packed into the space and enjoyed watching the kids play, as volunteers manned the concession stand, etc., and kept things running smoothly.
