Stewart Awarded $1.75 Million for Road Work

 Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and the State Road and Tollway Authority (SRTA) Board of Directors recently approved $26 million in funding for Georgia Transportation Infrastructure Bank (GTIB) grants, $1.75 million of which will go to an improvement project in Stewart County.
 Gov. Kemp's office says the Carters Spur Road widening and resurfacing project will widen and resurface 4.3 miles of the existing Carters Spur Road from State Route 520 to Trotman Road.
