State Champ Returns to Lead MCHS Basketball Team

There is a familiar face returning to the sidelines at Marion County High School. Taylor Green, a 2020 graduate and a standout member of the school's 2019 Girls Basketball State Championship team, has been named the new head girls basketball coach.
For Green, the new role is more than just a career advancement - it is a homecoming. While she grew up in nearby Taylor County, she transferred to Marion County High School for her junior and senior years, a period she describes as life changing.
