Man's Dog Helps ID Him as Criminal Suspect

 They say the dog is man's best friend. Best crime accomplice? Apparently not.
 According to the Montezuma Police Department one man's "best friend" recently helped identify him as a criminal, although not intentionally.
 The following account was posted by the MPD.
 "On Monday, June 6, 2026, officers received multiple reports of entering autos in the College Street area during the early morning hours between approximately 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. During the same time frame, a vehicle was also reported stolen from the area.
 "Officers immediately began investigating and reviewed Flock camera footage. Investigators observed the stolen vehicle traveling through several Montezuma neighborhoods between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. Officers located the stolen vehicle abandone...
