The Marion County Courthouse Square is not your personal car dealership. That's the message the Buena Vista City Council is sending to the public. However, there are options to use the downtown area for sales.
After noticing a vehicle for sale being parked on public property, the City Council recently voted to issue a "Notice of Unauthorized Commercial Vehicle Sales on City of Buena Vista Property".
The notice informs the public that parking spaces surrounding the downtown square are intended for public parking and access to downtown businesses - not for the use as a private automobile sales lot or for conducting commercial sales activities without authorization.
