Abandoned Sites into Economic Engines? River Valley Wins $1.5M Grant
The River Valley Regional Commission (RVRC) has been selected to receive a $1,500,000 Brownfields Assessment Coalition Grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Coalition partners include the Development Authority of Marion County and the Industrial Development Authority of Talbot County.
The EPA Brownfields Program provides grant funding and technical assistance to help communities inventory, assess, safely clean up, and sustainably redevelop contaminated or vacant properties.
